Hazard Perception Test (HPT) Resources

Driving Test NSW provides a range of free resources to help you pass the Hazard Perception Test (HPT). These tools will improve your chances of getting your provisional P2 licence (green P plates) on the first attempt!

NOTE: From 20 November 2017 the Hazard Perception Test is required before you take your Practical Driving Test while still on your learner licence (L plates). However, according to the RMS website:

If you held a P1 licence (red Ps) before 20 November 2017 and have not yet upgraded to a P2 licence (green Ps), you will need to pass the Hazard Perception Test (HPT) after holding your P1 licence (red Ps) for 12 months.
